Trass The Dress

I know it's been along time since I posted anything.  I getting ready to go back to the hair industry and just getting things in order.  On the other hand I had the opportunity to do a "Trash The Dress" photo shoot with a wonderful couple Alethea and Kevin.  These photo's came out amazing!  I had so much fun running around Chicago with them.  The totally worked the camera.  Can anybody say Americas next top model :)  At one point during out shoot it was pouring rain.  I mean really really rain hard.  That didn't stop us.  I actually love the pics with the concert wet and the lights reflecting off of it.  Well enough with all that.  Take a look at these pics I'm sure you will be satisfied!  By the way visit my website and blog for Stylist Ashieka Daniels.  I will be returning in July 2011 www.ashiekadaniels.com and www.ashiekadaniels.net  Enjoy!

Reggie Ray's Tasting Party

Reggie Ray's Tasting Party was an awesome culinary event.  It was held at The Living Room located in the working loft district of Chicago.  This event featured live chef demonstrations, dessert tables, ice cream lollipops, and shrimp grits......yes I said shrimp grits and I loved it. But I think my favorite thing was the seafood dip.  The tasting party was filled with beautiful people, a great live band, and a DJ.   Chef Reggie also celebrated his birthday at this event.  Don't plan to miss any future events by Reggie Ray's Catering.

"Fall Foto"

What a wonderful time of year! Fall is an excellent time to capture the changing of seasons. I love to see the leaves transform their colors. I have a vivid memory when we lived in Oak Park of a tree that was so amazingly beautiful. I mean the color of the leaves on this tree were unreal. Can you imagine lime color tree leaves? Well that's exactly what I saw. Simply stunning. Just wanted to keep you all posted on this years seasonal special "Fall Foto" mini shoot. Mini shoots will be taken Oct.23 beginning at 9am. Nicole and Getu Tale Workenhe

This photo session was awesome. Even though it was hot and I am 9months pregnant the photo's came out great. Nicole and Getu Tale look fabulous on camera and their love for one another is very apparent! They brought along their daughter who was just a doll. I really wish I could do their wedding but that would be cutting it to close with my due date. Congratulations Nicole and Getu Tale Workenhe may God bless you marriage and with years of love, understanding, patients and wisdom.
